I’m approaching 60 days into this crazy idea and I can’t wait to do a full update on new measurements and progress. The past few weeks have been a little crazy. Due to travel and sickness I missed several workouts at Ed’s Gym, but this week I have been able to get back into the swing of things. But I’m back in the gym this week and it feels great. I hit a milestone this morning and just had to share it before we hit the 60 day mark. When I stepped on the scales this morning I hit a number I’ve been waiting for. It wasn’t a huge number, but it was a number I hadn’t seen for 12 years. I’m not telling you what that number is – it’s to close to the 60 day mark, but I was really excited. Instead, I want to share a photo I posted on Facebook last week that received a few comments and a photo from last fall.
Sometimes you don’t see the changes day to day, and it can get frustrating. When you don’t see the immediate changes you wonder if it is worth it, you wonder if change is really happening. Sometimes it’s nice look back a little further and see the progress. I’m getting close to my goal for 60 days and the target weight I set to start doing some running. It looks like that 5K is getting closer and closer. I need to pick one in the next couple of weeks.
